Harmony with Mrs. Hahn

I am a ninth year elementary music teacher in Oklahoma. I teach grades K-5 and an extracurricular Choir. I am passionate about creating engaging lesson plans where students have opportunities to increase their music literacy, be creative and experience the joy of music.

I am a Kodály inspired and certified teacher. I love the richness of the folk song literature and the structure and sequence of the Kodály approach. I am grateful to have taken my levels training early in my teaching career! They have transformed my teaching in the best possible way.

I have an instrumental background as I am a clarinetist and pianist. I teach several clarinet students, accompany and play the occasional gig when I can.
